I love sharing my favorite reads, podcasts, and shows with you, so I've gathered some fantastic materials for you to look into as you work towards putting yourself first in small and big ways, every day.

Supportive Books
Patriarchal Stress Disorder is a book that will explain some of the deeper rooted trauma that women carry through the generations that came before us. Ancestral trauma resides in our DNA and it can be extremely helpful to understand that some of the doubts, beliefs, and people pleasing tendencies we have, go beyond our space and time. This book gives you the understanding, as well as the tools to work through this trauma.
Eye Opening Documentary
Fair Play is a documentary (and book) on the division of labor in a household. Incredibly eye opening, especially if you are experiencing feelings of guilt towards your partner, children, family etc. Seeing the imbalance in the household for what it is can help to re-establish equity, as well as help you be softer on yourself when you are trying to "do it all".
Renewed: Your Grounding Ritual
Every month I create a new ritual that is designed for you to connect with yourself, your desires, and your womanhood. This is an hour just for you, where you get to reflect on the past month and look ahead at what is coming. If you struggle to carve out time for yourself - this is a great way to create a nourishing habit and choose you.
April's ritual is so supportive. It even consists of a restorative yoga practice.
